Paisley is 120 pounds and still growing! The vet estimated her to be 12-18 months. She is spayed, has had gastropexy, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on heartworm/flea prevention. She is crate trained, walks well on leash, knows several basic commands, potty trained. She is still a puppy even though she is huge, so she still has a lot of training to go and still has a lot of puppy energy! Since this is not your average breed, we are requiring she be adopted to a family with experience with Great Danes. If you know, you know!
Paisley still needs to gain some confidence and can be shy and timid in new situations and sometimes with new people. We have been working with her on socialization, exposure to every day life, and confidence building. She making huge progress!
We recently learned that Paisley is very scared of small energetic children and will need a home with easy going, dog savvy children. We think 10 and older might be best but that is not a set in stone restriction and we will take this case by case and depending on how the children and Paisley interact. We want the very best fit for her and for her new family!
Please fill out an adoption application on our website if interested underdogsalvation.com and feel free to email with any questions about this sweet girl.
Paisley is a very special dog and we will be choosing the applicant that is the best fit, not necessarily the first approved.
