Antonio is a 25 pound Boston terrier that is 3 years old.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative.
Antonio is also deaf.
Because he is deaf he will need to have a fenced yard or be on leash when outdoors.
Deaf dog experience preferred but not required.
So far we have learned that he knows several commands by hand signal and is potty trained and crate trained.
He gets along fine and can live with other cats and dogs but he could really care less about them and would be just as happy as an only pet. He seems to just adopt as needed with that.
One issue he does have that we are currently working on is nipping/biting at other dogs when he is not the couch sleeping by his person and sometimes while eating. It isn't always and seems to be getting better the longer he is hear and learning what is acceptable.
He would be perfectly happy as an only dog though, as he only cares about people.
So far he is great with respectful children.
He can be a little excitable sometimes and jumps up on people so small kids may accidentally get scratched.
Antonio adores humans and will follow you everywhere. The epitome of a velcro dog.
He gets super amped up when it’s time to put a leash on and grabs the leash with his mouth and is a little goofy until you’re able to get the leash on, he seems to want to play tug with the leash. He has also done this out of excitement to go outside grabbing the potty bells hanging on the door.
But he does walk super well on a leash.
Help us take care of Antonio
