Boots and his litter-mate, Duke, came to us after their owner passed away. They are 6 years old. They could be adopted together or separate. They were outdoor dogs that lived in a fenced area their whole lives, so we are unsure how they will do in a home but what we can tell you is that they each keep their kennels very tidy. They do not have accidents in their kennels or chew on their comfy kennel chairs. They both really enjoy chewing on antlers and nylabones and both LOVE a big fluffy stuffy toy! Both seem to do better with calm dogs. So far they have loved all humans big and small that they have met here. Boots is more outgoing with people but gets a tad excitable and sometimes jumps on people. He just forgets he's big and wants to give hugs. Duke is definitely more timid with people but extremely sweet. Currently both are a little overweight so someone that likes to go for walks would be an added bonus. Although these boys were outdoor dogs prior to coming to us, they have very much become accustomed to indoor. climate controlled, comfy living and we hope to find indoor homes for them where they can live side by side with their humans and finally live a good boys life like they deserve. We are not going to rule out indoor/outdoor or farm homes and will consider all inquiries. If one (or both) of these pups sound like a good fit for you're family, please fill out the application!
